A man of 26, adrift on a sea of doubt,
Trapped in a life that he can't figure out,
He works and he toils, a corporate finance pawn,
But his soul is empty, his spirit is drawn,
To something more, a life rich and true,
But for now he's alone, with naught but his family to cling to.
He remembers the days of his youth, when he was full of fire,
Achieving success in all he desired,
But now that fire has dimmed, and he feels so cold,
Trapped in a life that's no longer bold.
He knows he must change, but the path is unclear,
Should he leave his job, or stay and persevere?
He feels so lost, and so very small,
But perhaps the answers lie within after all.
He must search his heart, and listen to its call,
For only then will he find his way,
To a life that's filled with joy, and love, and play.
He remembers the days when he had his own takaful business,
But the demands of his job and his anxiety took their toll,
He couldn't balance it all, and his venture was doomed to fail,
Leaving him with nothing but regret and a heart full of wail.
He longs for someone special, to share his burden with,
But he's built a wall around him, and it's hard to commit,
To opening up and being vulnerable, to loving and being loved,
But he knows he must try, for it's the only way to rise above.
He looks back on his university years with fondness and regret,
Wishing he could go back and not be so set,
On the path he's chosen, a path of stress and strain,
But it's too late now, and he must find a way to regain,
The energy and passion he once had,
Before it's too late, and he becomes sad.
He must find a way to reignite that flame,
And reclaim his life, and his sense of aim.
But as he struggles to find his way,
He realizes he has lost his ability to feel,
For anyone else, and he doesn't know how,
To mingle and connect, and let love be his guide now.
He's trapped in his own mind, and it's a lonely place,
But he knows he must find a way, to find joy and grace,
And emerge from the darkness, into the light,
And reclaim his life, and make everything right.
He longs to reconnect, to find someone to share,
His deepest fears and doubts, and the weight he must bear,
But he can't seem to find anyone who will stay,
And he's given up hope, and resigned himself to this lonely fate.
He trudges on, day after day,
But the loneliness never fades, it just finds a different way,
To claw at his heart, and leave him feeling blue,
Wishing for someone, anyone, to see him through.
But then, one day, he has a revelation,
He realizes that no one will care for him, but himself,
And he must learn to love and care for himself,
Before he can hope to find happiness with anyone else.
He decides to throw himself into his work,
To master the art of corporate finance, and make it his own,
He toils and he struggles, but he doesn't give up,
And slowly but surely, his soul begins to come back.
And he hope,
As he throws himself into his work,
He finds a sense of purpose and meaning, that he hadn't felt in years,
He starts to feel alive again, and the darkness begins to lift,
And he finds himself smiling, and feeling more at ease.
He knows that this is just the beginning,
The start of a new journey, full of hope and meaning,
One where he will learn to love and care for himself,
And find a way to live a life that's rich and full.
With each step he takes, he grows stronger and more sure,
That he will find his way, and his troubles will be no more.
He trusts in God's guidance, and knows that all his prayers,
Will be answered, in due time, and lead him to a brighter future,
Filled with love and joy, and a sense of belonging,
Where he can thrive, and let his spirit sing.
